A Little Slice of Heaven

It wasn’t so much of a slice as a Belgium waffle, but this Belgium waffle was covered in homemade cake batter cookie dough ice cream, sprinkled with cookie dough pieces, topped with brownie pieces and drizzled with hot fudge sauce. Do I have your attention yet?

Sugar Sugar

If you’re still sticking with your New Year’s weight loss resolutions, this may be the place that undoes them. Last night I went to Spin, the Dessert Cafe and Bistro. It was delicious. Their menu boasts homemade ice cream, savoury crepes, sweet crepes and cold and hot drinks. They also have a selection of cakes from The Cheesecake Factory if that’s what you’re after, but I much preferred the look of the selection on their menu. The dessert I had was called Sugar Sugar, but I was torn between their Maltesers, fruit or fondue options. Oh well, all the more reason to plan another dessert night!

The staff was friendly and accommodative, and the wait times weren’t too long before we were checked on. I’m excited to go back and try some other items on the menu and would definitely recommend going.

What are some of your favourite dessert cafes? I’d love to hear some recommendations!
